the yellow color is her breeding dress. maybe illumnae was right, she loss the fight to the male while trying to protect her eggs.

updates on the male: his still quite shy.. will flare at the mirror for a few seconds before darting of the opposite direction. getting quite greedy when comes to food. actively hunting for blood worms and pellets..

will stop feeding him frozen bloodworms and concentrate on feeding him frozen brine shrimp and pellet food. recently bought cichlid food Attack! by HBH.. hope its good

other then that. he still quite shy. hiding among foilage..
