Why not mix 1 teaspoon with 160ml of water and every 30ml will be the amount you need?

Btw, will the excess sulphate from K2SO4 in water cause any negative effects on the plants and fishes/shrimps? I'm thinking of dosing about 3 teaspoon to achieve the desired 30 ppm for K. Any comments from those who are using K2SO4?

Also, is it ok to dose both K2SO4 and KH2PO4 at the same time?

    Hey,
I'm dosing both KH2PO4 and K2SO4. In fact I mix both 1tsp of KH2PO4 and 15tsp of K2SO4 in 500ml of tank water. This way, I just dose 10ml 3 times a week to get 19.34ppm K+ and 1.42ppm PO4 per dosing. By the way, I'm using Seachem Nitrogen. There's some potassium in it.
    Cheers,
    Sean

Sorry guys, Is K2SO4 (K)? & KH2PO4 (P)? As was at NA just now to buy k, no idea what ia what. As they is 2 type of potassium, one is potassium sulphate the other is potassium chloride i think.

End up bought the Seachem K.

Both potassium sulphate and potassium chloride can be used and potassium sulphate is the more popular option.

Not an issue for short term. For long term storage, RO water may be a better option.
