Thanks for the link. This is what I really need. The 40D manual is very brief in everything and doesn't really help. Ordered a 40D book by David Busrch and it has been a month and still waiting patiently..

    Maurice,
Saw a book on 40D at kinokuniya, not sure who is the author.

Hi Richard, thanks for the info. I read a copy by David Busch at Borders for 30D and really like it. I checked with the staff and they said that Singapore book stores had not brought it in and so I ordered from Amazon.com. I will check out Kino.

See that you got a 55-250mm, how is it so far? Basically you have covered the range from 18 to 250mm.. haha

    Maurice,
The 55-250mm is pretty sharp, but can't say the same for the 18-55mm. This is the kit lens for their earlier models.
In fact at kino I saw a wide range covering the 30D,40D, 400D, 5D and the same for Nikon too. Only thing is I did not check on the author.
Will drop by again as it's near my working place.

    Maurice,
Don't go to Kino, they don't have the book for 40D either.
Sorry, I thought I saw it. The books are usually by David Busch and Charlotte Lowrie.
