Good grief Robert, looks like you have lots of fun. Keep me updated on the mosses if they survive.
Would like to share couples of photo during my Japan trip. Unfortunately there is no time to visit any fish shop, though the convenient store do sell fish in the jar can't read Japanese, not sure what the writing said.
Please comment to improve my photo taking skill
Fish in the Jar:
Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavillion) Temple. The interesting part is the whole ground cover with many different moss. I took 3 different moss sample hopefully can grow in Singapore . Taken from outside the temple area though.
Taken from inside moving bus. Lucky I bough Circular polariser, It play inportant role to remove the glass reflection.
The Entrance door burried under the snow
The weather was claudy. The green tree leaves became so dark compared to wite snow, so I decide to take black and white instead :
Good grief Robert, looks like you have lots of fun. Keep me updated on the mosses if they survive.

RObert,
Where are all the Japanese babes ??!!!
Anyway, nice scenery shots. I would love to visit Japan too if possible. Did you managed to get yourself some rare fishes ?!
No babes its winter
Unfortunately no time to go to fish shop. Furthermore the rest of the gangs are not fish lover. Did manage to convince them to visit Osaka aquarium but in the end everybody are very disappointed. Nothing excited except for the big whale inside. The schedule is pretty pack, there are so many nice places, and only manage to visit some of them.
Lesson learn, focus at one place next time.
Robert,
Nice photos, nice scenery but no nice babe
the mountain is so beautiful, just a dream for me....................

All the girls look quite similar on the street during winter. I couldn't tell who is who, all look alike & identical.
It must be freezing! Thanks for sharing!
Cheers!

Added photo of box full of different moss speciment
The whole temple ground full for these mosses.
I took some of this moss to Singapore, plant it emerse but does not survive
I wasn't that bad. It was -3 to -15 at Sapporo, 0 to -7 at Nagano, around +7 at Kyoto/Osaka/Tokyo. In fact, Kyoto is the worst among all the cities, it is cold and windy so you body temperature drop very fast. Sapporo and Nagano although it is minus but not much wind, pretty warm if you wear proper clothes.
