    The caterpillar that we kept for 14 days decided to change into a pupa.

    Wow! That's such a strange pattern! The caterpillars around here are normally green/brown when in the pupa stage. ...Any chance you could take a pic of it when it breaks free?

    I will try but no promises i'm not sure when will it start to break free. It will take the whole morning just to eclosion . Will be more then happy if i happen to see it and document it.

    Understood. I've seen one right after it came out, was pretty cool to watch it dry and fly away.

    I didn't raise them, my gf is the one, all credit goes to her for taking good care of the caterpillar. I merely assist by bringing leaves back when i'm out shooting.
