Hi guys, I just bought the above and according to instruction is 1 tablespoon (16 mg or 15 ml) for each 80l to raise 3 GH. So, for my 300l tank, it should be 20 mg to raise 1 GH.

However, EI recommends 1 teaspoon (5 mg or 5 ml) for 80 gallon (about 300l) after a weekly 50% water change as this only accounts for new water not the above for entire tank.

So, my question is given my tank is 2.5 KH, 3.0 GH, how much should I add? 1 teaspoon or 4 teaspoon at the start? Should I add 4 teaspoon for the start and then subsequently 1 teaspoon after water change?

    Please advise... Thanks!

i don't really measure the kh/gh of my tank, but i dose 1.5 teaspoon every water change in my 120 gallon tank (4x2x2) as recommended by some others on this forum.

for your 300l tank, probably do 1 teaspoon per water change?
