i just happened to decide to drop by c328 to destress after work after my Betta falx killed my zebra oto...tried my luck by asking the auntie whether zebra otos were in stock...and to my utter surprise she said YES! apparently stock just came in today.
ended up scooping 2 to replace the poor mauled dead guy and they're happily swimming in my tank now. limited pieces available so you better hurry down if you want some!

Life is all about patience & perseverance,
Failure is just another new beginning
Thanks, Illumnae for the sighting!
Rush down immediately during lunchtime and took a couple home yesterday afternoon.
1 part of my 2008 Wish List fulfilled!
Now for the Orange Zebras and the Tiger Otos...............
Agreed that it's rather pricey and especially for a fish that is
notoriously difficult to keep alive for long. It used to be even
more expensive when it first appears.
However, the attraction for me personally despite all my years
of failure to keep it alive for a reasonably long period of time
is its beautiful body markings. This is one of the wonders of
nature which gives me immense pleasure to admire and enjoy,
however short the time may be.
It's not the price of the fish that matters. It is ok to each and
every individual fish hobbyist even it it's a 5-cent fish as long as
it brings happiness and joy to you. Just my thoughts.
well said dangoh, as long as what you keep keeps you happy, its worth it! no point spending a lot on a popular fish which you do not fully appreciate! i believe many forumers will agree with what you said.
the zebra oto is definitely one fish which will cause me to feel 'shiok' when viewing!
