Feb 21, 2008. On the day 15 of lunar New Year, children & young people came out to play the fireworks again. This is the last day of our new year celebration. It is also our Chinese "Valentine's day". Lantern festival (元宵节) is called "Chap Goh May" in Hokkien dialect of my hometown. In Korea, it's called "Daeboreum" (대보름), Vietnamese called it as "Tết Thượng Nguyên" or "Tết Nguyên Tiêu".
All photos below were taken at Malaysia-China Friendship Park at down town Kuching, Malaysian Borneo.

Nice series of fireworks, only if Singapore throws more frequent fireworks.
Cheers!
