I like #4. #3 unfortunately has damaged wing tips. your text is a bit too dim already, can do a little shadow to high light it.
Hi all,
Not a great day yesterday with the overcast sky and hence fewer butts appearing.. also did not shoot well...Flash -EV. Trying to learn how to control lighting as well. Pleae pardon the below pics.
#1. Banana Skipper. Due to the angle, could not get parallel to the butt.
#2. Ambon Onyx. wings not in focus
#3. Great Eggfly. Background is horrible!
#4. Unknown
#5. Chilades pandava pandava (Cycad Blue) Background is horrible

why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

hehehe, the text serves a purpose right? so they should be styled and sized to do the job.

#4 looks like blue grassy tiger, perfect shot with parallel in plane. Everything on the butt is tack sharp.
Nice catch on the Ambon!
Cheers!

impressive shot of the banana skipper @ 1/20s, the rest having harsh lighting cause by the flash except for the ambon
sweeeeet shooting Jeffrey, wow.
you are now on a higher level
but choy was right about the text, a bit faint

Nice pictures Jeff but 3 - 5 has a bit of harsh light. 1 and 2 would be nice if there is more DOF to get the butts in focus.
