I think most of the arowana hobbyists hang out at dedicated arowana forums like arofanatics. Whilst I like them very much, I don't have the tank space for them. I've always thought an Planted Arowana will be awesome!
Cheers,

I used to have a planted arowana tank.
My pics are gone though... because I closed my pacnet account. I shall have to go dig them out!
Hope to start one again in a few years.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
Now my aro tank is cluttered with all kinds of fishes. I think i will need to clear away all the other fishes less the 5 aros inside and start a planted tank with the tank. I always like the looks of an aro planted tank.

I agree that it Planted arowana tank is very good to see but I would still prefer bare tank with arowana.
A dated picture of my tank.
Nothing impressive though.
I'm from arofanatics and I guess that's the place where lots of people talk about arowanas. I'm new to aquatic quotient but I do realise that its more focus on planted tanks.

One can be a fool only ONCE by asking a question but FOREVER by not asking it.......
Always a Newbie
I've always thought a South American tank with a school of Silver Arowana, lots of branchy wood, plecos, eartheaters, catfish looks cool. Problem is I can't convince my wife to let me change my tank.
