    Hi all,

I'm currently thinking of switching to NLS food after reading all the wonderful reviews on them, since my current staple fish food, Tetra Pro Colour and TetraBit Complete is finishing. Any recommendations for specific NLS formulas which will suit 1.Angelfishes, 2.Cories, 3.Apistos and 4.Shrimps?

from what i've read, there's minimal difference between the various formulas. for me, i feel that i will notice the benefit in the cichlids most and as such opted for cichlid formula. if you're unable to get cichlid formula, go for discus formula. i know my zebra otos and sakura/yamato shrimp love it as well

hey illumnae, thanks for your prompt and useful response! seems like the cichlid formula is still the most recommended formula around, will consider getting that then.

Do you guys know if NA or C328 carry NLS food? I'm thinking of getting good dry food for my german rams. Also, my cardinals are pretty picky on foods i.e. they don't like tetrabits, frozen daphnia, frozen bloodworm etc. Having headache sourcing for a right food for their liking.

Thanks Illumnae! I'll go get the cichlids formula for my rams. Any recommendation which formula to get for cardinals and micro fish such as s axelrodi?

you can feed them cichlid formula as well (as i mentioned earlier, the differences are minimal between the formulas) or you can get the one specially for small fish (0.5mm pellets) if your fish are having problems eating the 1mm pellets

hey illumnae, would you recommend larger pellets for plecos, angelfishes and cories?

i personally stick to the 1mm ones for all my fish. i'm gonna get a pepper grinder after work today to grind down some pellets for my smaller fish. this saves me some money (no need to stock up on different types) and it's not much difference anyway since all the formulas are similar.

if you specifically want wafers for bottom feeders like plecs and cories, there's a formula called H2O wafers that sinks and stays stable for 24 hours so that bottom feeders can feed at their leisure
