    ID: Is this a Sulawesi shrimp?

    Guys need help with id. Is this a sulawesi shrimp? Sp? It is dark bluish with a beige line on its back with 2 intersecting at 90 degrees and spot on tail.

    I don't think is sulawesi shrimp, because the body shape more look like blue shrimp sp.

    Errhhh....my "blue" shrimps just turned red! Only the lines stay beige color but now they are red shrimps! Alive and kicking... I know blue shrimps do not do that kind of transformation, I kept those before.

    They change color? The far top right red with beige spots shrimp is the same one in the earlier pic (blue)...trying to blend in

    malayans do change colour, though i've never seen one turn red before. your other shrimp do look like sulawesi shrimp though

    The rest are. Couldnt find an id for the blue one which started pale, ghost shrimp liked, turns greenish, blue and now, red....C328 got it in as part of sulawesi shipment, cost the same too....

    Well, not all Sulawesi shrimps are as colourful comparatively as the recent ones that we are seeing. There are a lot more species in those lakes than we will actually discover.

    If they come from the same source, then it is very possible that this is a Sulawesi shrimp. Any better shots?

    Yes, it is. In Germany, they call it Caridina spec. "Goldenbackline Shrimp".

    How much are these sulawesi shrimps selling for and where can i get them? Do they go by any other names?
