    very nice

but i think ADA garden mat or a black carpet would compliment this tank better than the ugly white styrofoam lol..just my 2 cents to make things perfect

24-26 degC is good enough for shrimps. I keep CRS at 27degC and they are doing well. Not bad if a fan can cool your tank to this temperature.

    Sweet!
    Great clarity!
Jervis, if it is possible, try to put your outflow the way you see in most ADA layouts. This is to ensure that there is flow around the tank. But you can also observe first to see if there are any dead spots with your current positioning.

I'm worried for the size the Echinodorus at the back will grow to.

Jervis, great effort and nice tank

It has been a long time since I last saw a detailed journal on aquascaping and thanks for painstakingly uploading the pictures and sharing with us. Your ADA products certainly sent most of us drooling

Very glad to see that you are full of passion in this hobby.

By the way, you mini ADA tank reminds me of a beautiful tank I saw on a Japanese website. Can't recall the web name. The picture is here:-

Opps... another newbie mistake... I planted the Anubias nana onto the soil

I took them out this morning and learn to tie them to the bogwood

I keep reading Blyxa japonica needs bright light... so I guess 33W worth of PL is not considered excessive

Here's a pix of my 3rd Arcadia Arc Pod prior to installation.

Didn't expect this shot to come out so nicely... can see the different colour temperatures of each tube... replaced the center (Philips INCANDESCENT WHITE 2700K) tube with Osram Daylight.

Think the design complements the neat lines of the tank.

B.japonica can do in moderate lighting. But in the process of acclimatising to low light, they will shed quite abit of leaves.

Oh... sorry... I'm really bad in ID So I got Jave Fern growing on Spiky Moss?

Added another small piece of Ohko rock to help create flow... can you guys feel the energy flowing from left to right diagonally?

    looking pretty good
whats the new leafy plant in the centre? betwwen the 2 rocks and below the nanas?

i find the left side a tad slightly too tall
maybe if its a little shorter it'll have a nicer "flow"?

and perhaps have the nanas a little lower and closer to the ground?
personally i think the positioning of the nanas looks abit better in the 1st pic
