Hi James,
Welcome to AQ. Hmmm... don't seem to be many people in AQ who are familiar with those drugs.
Hopefully, someone turns up soon.
I’m from Ontario Canada
and came across this site while searching for people that have experience treating Camallanus worms
In a planted tank with shrimp and have had success and no problems the following weeks and months with plants and shrimp, as with the fish that I understand I depending on state of infection at time of treatment
Levamisole is very difficult to get and no very safe to human I hear, not sure on that and why this is?
May be getting some and one had bad experience with it?
Have some mebendazole in powder tabs of 100mg x 10 tabs
Easy to get and have hear of people using mostly that it works on the fish well and some say that it does not.
Hearing that it does not kill the eggs in the water?
that is my main concern as I care more about the plant and not spreading this worm =than the fish and the shrimp are more important too.
Also what about febendazole?
Say as mebenazole or better
Having a hard time finding a vet that knows about fish that will sell me panacure (dog dewormer) that has the drug in powder forum.
Have 22% febedazole liquid that I can use from lfs that sell dogs
Any one uses that?
What is the dosage?
Please help
Thanks James

Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
Camallanus worms
so far levamisole is the best medicine

for this, i suggest you keep your fish in a quarantine tank. add 5 drops to a 2 feet tank and observe.
