What food to feed estuarine fishes?

What food to feed estuarine fishes? In particular the archer fish. Any suggestions?

They will just about eat anything they can fit in their mouth. Insects, fishfood,mealworms, small fish,shrimp etc. They can also be trained to spit for food.

I remember a trip to Kukup where there was a Kelong tour. The guide would smack some guppies and leave them on the edge of the walkway. The archer fish would then spit at the unconcious/dead guppies to knock them into the water.

i would assume something high in protein like live small crickets, let them scamper on top of the water, then....BOOM

I have a stonefish too, but the archers are hitting on the mollies really fast, worried that the stonefish might not get enough food. Can I use ghost shrimps for the stonefish?

Stonefish are ambush hunters. Bottom dwelling prey such as ghost shrimp and baby clarius should work. Both which are available as feeders
