I have an emperor tetra which developed a white thread-kind worm on one of its pectoral fin. It later became a little mess of bleeded flesh. I took it out and put it in a little tank of water with bits of salt added, and it is becoming less red now.

Anyone knows what this disease is called? What is the correct method of cure?
    thanks
