Whao! Beautiful William. I'm still a noob and haven't experience any success at night photography. They're either over or under exposed after numerous tried. May you please share what type of lens, shutter speed, aperture & ISO were used to achieve such beautiful shots? Thanks.

    Hi

Thanks for all your valuable comments. I am also learning myself so I started to take some night shots with my colleagues.

    I am using a Canon 17-40mm lens.

    Parameters: -
    ISO125
    Shuttle speed: 20secs
    Aperture: F/10

Most important thing is to use a tripod.

yes can see you are using one of the wide angle short zooms as the lights (esp the white one in the middle) has so many rays, which means the lens has odd number of blades in the aperture iris. most of canon's wide zooms have 7-blades.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.
