Take some time to read this thread. Do take note that parameters of their natural environment are vastly different from what you may be expecting.

Thanks for the info! Yup, was told by the lfs that the shrimps need a higher temperature than the conventional shrimps. However, as my current crs, cherry shrimp tank is cooled by fan for about 10 hours, and the temperature ranges from 26 to 28 degrees celcius, i reckon that the the new shrimps can be acclimated to the perimeters.

Temperature is just one of the parameters. In their natural environment, their pH is between 7.4 to 8.2, so do be aware it is unlike the pH with which you keep cherry shrimp or CRS.

It is critical to put them in high PH tank, keeping with CRS.... good luck!

It seems that if your tank is cold and acidic, that the shrimps seems to do well for about a week or 2 then a fewdays after that time frame, they start to drop like flies... i think it is still good to keep them to an environment as close to their natural habitat...i mean...its only logical.

Yup.. understand that it's good to place crush corals in the tank too.
