Oh thanks both for the IDs. Hehe now at least I know what is inside my tank.

Just wondering why people advise to remove the non aqautic plants? (I will remove them when I know what plants I want to replace them with)

Cause these plants have been in my low tech tank for like 3 months plus and still looks ok. If I do not remove them what harm does it do? Do they still take part in the oxygen and nitrate cycle?
