    Hi Everyone,

Some pics of my tank, had to rescape because of Echinodorus bleheri gone mad! Actually when I first started, didn't know that E.bleheri can just so large so quick []

After rescaping, moved the e.bleheri to the corners, good for covering up the filter stuff. Also moved a few things around

Aiya, homex.coolconnect.com is full or something, can't upload a complete file.

Tried, villagephoto, but they have download cap.

Ok just put the links this time from geocities, they don't allow remote loading, so sorry...

    Hi eggz,

Nice!!! No wonder you say you have no space in your tank! Your pics are sharp and well exposed too. What are those little plantlets you have on your driftwood?

I also have problems with homex. Gave up on them. Am using the gallery in Arofanatics at the moment, less problematic.

    Cheers!
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

    Hi Benny,

heh,heh...those plantlets are algae! []. They're green and don't look too bad, so I decided to just leave them there, sort of makes the driftwood look more natural.

Wow! I really like your tank. What's the size?

Actually, I prefer the b4 setup but i guess it must be a tough nut to maintain huh?

mmm... this E. bleheri seems like a good E. to plant emersed. Anyone got plantlets to spare? I am adopting

Recently went to Teo and got the E. Red Indian and E. Red Flame. I plant them in a shallow pond and both are doing OK. Except that the Red Indian which has very deep dark red leaves, would not lift the leaves out of the water! It simply floats on the surface. Anyone has tried this, any comments?

    Eggz,

I like the tank... The standing wood looks quite good where it is, but the rock or petrified wood on the left behind the Blyxa sticks out like sore thumb. It has a bit of a wild look which I like. [] Very nice.

I like the previous incarnation too.

Hi guys, thanks for the comments.

    szesteve, Mez: the tank is 4ft X 1.5ft X 2ft, using JBL base fert, 3 X (36 X 2 PL) lighting, 2028 Ehiem filter.

Vinz: I agree that the rocks don't quite go. At the time of setup, didn't really look around for nice rocks, too eager to start planting [] Should really have spent more time looking around. I think the darker volcanic type rocks that Amano uses would be nice, no idea where to get them though.

hwchoy: I do have a couple of small E.bleheri plantlets if you like, give me a call 96159625.

I got a suggestion for your rocks... the taller one that has a corner sticking out from behind the Blyxa, turn it on it's end so that the grain runs 45 degrees toward the right the tank.

For rocks, you can try asking LSZ... he may have an idea where to get them.

Ooohhh...I get what you mean now, yes, it does look very un-natural the way it is now. Ok I'll give it a try tonight. Thanks!

What a nice tank! You have done a great job, eggz. Btw, if there is background paper or other background material, the overall effect would be more striking.
