Can't wait for it to grow into a jungle...

Best thing was a pair of Rams spawned in the 2 week old tank! But the frys were lost the next day -- probably the parents too tired protecting the frys. Good thing got the photos.

Very nice pair of Rams, looks reddish to me. The fry is so cute too bad it's eaten. I guess u'll have more batches coming up! Keep up the good work KF! It's such a great thing to see fishes breed.
    Cheers!

Beautiful Rams... very strong and distince black patches.

Totally agree. That's why I wish the plants can be a jungle again to cover the background -- just like in my previous 4ft.
The owner who sold me the tank already had the blue background nicely stick on so I did not want to change it. He also stuck the same background on the tank base. So it looked nice when he kept discus only.

Benetay: I think black would have looked nicer too. But there's no "reverse side" for this background.

It's the self-adhesive type of background? How about installing a foam or corkbark background?

Can think about it but I guess quite troublesome to put in in right now. I will let the plants grow slowly to cover it.

Wah I like your rams... color very nice! But errr you really need to do something with that background ... what color is your wall? Maybe you could just take off the blue backing altogether?

Wah! Nice Rams...and lovely home for them. How I wish I have a pair...always got males home instead..no luck in identifying females.

    Koah Fong,
Don't think the jungle going to hide away the bright 'luministic' blue you have for your background.
    Cheers!!

Very nice, I agree with Vinz on the background though. I think the blue is a bit too light coloured. Maybe a deeper blue would be better.

The Rams look great! Very unusual colour, pity about the frys

Well, on the other hand, you could wait for algae to take over the back wall...
