I've heard of people using the volcanic soil with remarkable crystal clear water, i'm not sure about the content in it. I'm using the ada amazonia soil which prove to be better then the volcanic soil. Price wise both are steep.

Aqua soil will make the water slightly acidic.

Volcanic sand also ?

YuP Aquasoil does make the water very acidic lower then 6. For volcanic soil i'm not very sure hope to hear from people who have us it.

Ya i got it from Hong kong. Hand carry it back, sure worth the effort and money.
