    DEA,

Was chatting with Simon about white spots and he said not all cories can take salt bath. Said you're the best person to ask. I have a bronze cory and 6 of either the Julii or Trilineatus. Would there be any problems?

    Thanks.

you intend to remove them for a bath?
or adding the salt water to the tank?
if you're removing them, watch out for their spines
and i don't advocate removing them

the only species i have seen that are sensitive to salt are pandas
no other species i have seen suffer adverse effects from the lvl of salt we use for treating diseases

    Thanks DEA.

I intend to treat the tank. Its not the cories that have whitespots, its my pearl gouramis.

    i see
in that case, add the salt solution carefully, without pouring it all in at one shot
let it spread around some before adding the rest

Doh, forgot to ask. The 'aquarium salt' mentioned in the previous topic about white spots is marine aquarium salt?
