Just got back from C328. They have new stock in for the following:

    Ap. sp. "Black Chin" Fanta
Ap. elizabethae (bag has no locality)
    Ap. trifasciata
    Ap. hongsloi II

The "Black Chin" is indeed a juruensis-type. In that case I believe it is what is being called Apistogramma sp. "Schwarzkinn" by the Germans.

The elizabethae pair is still young, but the male is quite nice. Has some striking red colouration. The female is pretty small.
    Fish.. Simply Irresistable

Just 1 pair for the "Black Chin". They are still young I think.

The mendezi pair is still there. The male is quite large.

The quality of the A. elizabethae is good in my opinion. They pair were still in the bags at the counter and already spot reddish with blue streaks on the face. Some orangy/reddish colour on the belly and the whole of the anal fin. Unlike at the betta rack where reddness can be manipulated. Fins are proportional. Female spots the same trait.

I'd agree with you on the elizabethae. Saw them when they first appeared on the counter desk. The male's red was already evident.

Thumbs up for all the LFS and farms that have started to bring in Apistogrammas for our own market. Quality have been improving as well. Now, that is what is call progression.
