hi guys, today just noticed this "lump" on my apisto, is this internal parasites?
or does it got to do with what he eats? this guy with his mate has been feeding on my malayan srimps every day... have been trying to remove as much shrimps but still some are left inside.. this pair totally ignore NLS pellets now

    thanks in advance.

Seems like a fungus waiting to "bloom". Do start medicating now.

I have had a couple (a caca and an aga) having a white bit sticking out from the body. Like a white pimple. No movement from the white bit as far as I could see, i.e. not like a worm or parasite. But in both cases, they died after a couple of days.

The only medication that i use for my sick fishes are melafix and primafix, together with ketapang leaves. But they do not always work.

I can't tell from your photos if it is similar. The ones on my apistos were white (yours look pink), stuck out (looks like something worming its way out but no movement that I could see). I've never had luck treating so nowadays, I would isolate and keep my fingers crossed. Both died. I did not do a post-mortem to confirm, not much point considering I would not know what to do even if I found out what the lump was.

Yours may not go the same way. Hope someone else can provide a solution.
