Hi,
Yesterday i bought some java ferns and java moss to try, is it normal/natural these ferns & moss have black patches on leaves?
Cause at the shop, every pack also same, there are over 20 packs, all same same leh.....

Any good shops in Jurong West, Sungei Tegah, Lim Chu Kang areas to shop for aquatic-plants?
Want buy some floating plants, glosso, hairgrass (japanese or normal, which is easier?)

You can try Fish City at Sungei Tengah but the plants can be limited. Best go to C328.

yes its normal, the best lfs thats carries java fern in those plastic bag i would say is Polyart(also at c32

i recently bought 2 heathy long and big java fern on wood from them, cheap and only 2 - 4 leaves have a little brownish.

Can you describe the black patches, just make sure they are not algae. Some LFS sell very unhealthy plants, best head down to c328/polyart when they have their weekly thurs stocks.

Ya i bought mine on Friday from Polyart C328.....

The patches are small spot, but don't look hairy, look like mud/dust...
