this is a very good idea, now save alot of trouble
Hi
Like to share a simple method which I've been using successfully....
Hatch BBS once a week but still able to feed fresh bbs up to 6 days
The BBS is still orangey with yolk sag at 5th day!!
Using the BBS Hatchery:
1) Pour saltwater mix into dish, sprinkle 2 spatulas of BS eggs (premium quality for better hatch rate)
*Note: Do not put in the sieve and DO NOT COVER
2) Wait up to 12hrs for eggs to hatch
3) Once BBS is hatched, cover and wait for BBS to gather at the centre opening
4) Use a pipette and sieve to harvest the bbs
5) Empty the harvest into a plastic container (make sure water-proof)
*Note: Use enough amount of saltwater mix to contain the harvest
6) Keep the plastic container inside the Fridge (Egg compartment is best for me)
7) Take out and feed when desired
Enjoy watching your beloved fish feeding on live BBS everyday without hatching everyday!!!
Hope this method helps reduce the hassle and increase the enjoyment of the hobby!!
