Anybody has any experience buying from B&H Photo Video before? I ordered some stuff from them and today I receive and email saying that they need a copy of the front and back of your credit card. They are asking me to fax or upload my scanned credit card to them. Is this really necessary?

Ok, manage to ask someone here who have bought it before. He told me this is needed because there is a case of fraud last time due to Asian credit card. So it is a precaution. The person went through the same step also.

From what i have heard, Malaysian and Singapore-issue credit cards have a very bad reputation in the US for fraud.
Yes credit card fraud is common when doing online purchases.
Actually SG issued card are OK it's those from Indo that are usually not accepted.
