    Hi

    Just started my tank.
Was wondering why my moss is turning black, when I bought
it from the shop it looked green and healthy.

    Thanks

If it turns black, its a gonner. But if it's yellow, then its trying to acclimatize to your water condition. Be patient. It may take a while.

    Hey Kelstorm

I can't afford a reef tank after going through the list of
    equipment needed.
The list you gave me will set me back at least 4K and you haven't include the cost of a chiller.

Thanks but not for me at the moment.like what the hokkien says
    hang cheng pie

aiyah, why give up...? like what kelstorm says, chiller is not an absolute necessity. Do a fish only tank with live rocks, does not cost you much...could be cheaper than a planted tank...hehehe oh no...I'm gonna get kicked by the rest here...[]
