    Hi,

Would appreciate if someone could help identify if this is just purely hair algae or hair algae covered with BGA.

    Thanks in advance.

It's definitely not just pure hair algae... that's for sure

uk, your tank was ok a couple of weeks back, you;ve changed something in your regime ? Your close up looks pretty bad.

Wasnt too sure what your first pic shows, seems like they may have gotten there when you were clearing out the BGA threads. Though i recognise the BGA slim. Probably having issues similar to me, i have small patches of BGA with 1-3 threads of hair algae on my mosses too when i overfeed my boraras this week.

I was hoping someone could help ID them as well. thanks.

Can clearly see BGA. Could be poor circulation in your aquarium and some dead spots.
The 'hair algae' could be just diatoms though. If so, they will go away by themselves.

Either way, just remove as much as you can manually first.
