Need advice Tammy 180 & Nikon Wireless R1 Kit

Anybody has any experience with Nikon wireless lighting R1 (or R1C1) kit with Tammy 180mm macro lens? I remember reading somewhere that it cannot be used can I know why?

Because Tammy 180 is not internal focus maybe?

I think it's because of the external filter ring that Tamron has that allow the filter to turn around. That also means once there's a flash there, it'll start turning because of the weight. But I have no confirmation on this. Can someone confirm this?

let me check with one of my bcircle member, confirm the canon mickey mouse flash cannot use with the T180 because of the rotating filter ring
