thanks for the update Quixotic! C328 uncle told me new apistos were coming in yesterday but I didn't have the time to go down and take a look. Seems like only a couple of new species though.

Shall make a trip down tonight

Maybe there's more. Uncle was putting some in the Betta tanks when I was there. So not sure if he has finished when I left.

Those CRS in the Betta tanks? D. filamentosus.

Or you mean those bags of high grade CRS on the left of the shop? I only saw bags of probably Poecilia reticulata (guppy) variants, or hybrids of P. reticulata and P. wingei (endlers).

Anyone knows the L number for the Hypancistrus spp?

I asked auntie, she said it is new stock, don't know number...

Its in the small tank above the one whick says "boraras brigitae" or something.

Looks like L270, but I'm not sure.

If its L270 then I will buy lol.

it's 2 males, not a pair. very nice males too. the dominant one has very nice finnage and tail while the other looks like it has potential to develop a nice and full tail. both have very red cheeks (but no red belly) and red/blue anal fin. if uncle can get in 2 females, that's 2 extremely beautiful pairs. i was standing there drooling at both for very long

Hmmm,...generally,..they seem to be all ok. Have ordered like a couple now from him, so far I have not rejected any. But it's hard to tell when they are in the bag. They are all in shock, have to take sometime to examine close up.

I was looking around on the net today for pictures of the Ap. sp "pebas". Apparently it's also known as Ap. algodon I. It seems that the one that was still available at c328 as of 1030pm last night is a very good piece. it's showing alot of red and blue on the cheeks unlike most of the photos i've seen via google...it almost looks like an Ap. eremnopyge without the long dorsal and lyretail but with a fat body!
