understand why I didn't clean it.

Keeping of snakes is illegal in singapore. Just because he shot them doesn't mean he owns them. And better don't collect... you never know who is reading...or watching you. fine is very hefty.

By the way, the snakes can be more specific.. care to add the scientific names Gecko..

chongyu, I find it difficult to shoot snakes at the zoo, the glass enclosure makes it quite difficult to take nice pictures, moreover the snakes there are very lethargic, coiled in one corner
got 2 more photos to share, this is a smiling turtle, just can't resist shooting it

No it isn't... Snapping turtles are Chelydra serpentina....i worked with them while i was overseas...looked nothing like this..

This on the other hand.. is much smaller..commonly known as a Matamata.. or scientifically, Chelus fimbriatus... you should see how they hunt... quite interesting..

Nice shots Richard. Love the first picture. You may want to sharpen it a bit though.

    Ah Zhan, Evo, Luenny,
Thanks, OK will try sharpening it a bit.

    Ranma, Gecko,
Sure wish I was back in the 60s and 70s when we were living in kampong and can keep all sorts of creatures.
