haven't decided whether to get another, since my 8gb CF is never close to filling up. Perhaps the 133x 16gb? hmmmm... will let you know if I'm getting.
How reliable are Transcend cards? I get a bit jittery when using large capacity cards because if it fails, a lot more data goes with it.

yeah.. thats why i not getting any CF cards for camera.. just the 8gb SDHC for my mp3 player...that one if doesn't work.. i can always burn again on a smaller card.

I have a Transcend 8GB 120x CF for more than a year without any problems, but branding aside, it depends on your luck. I have experienced problems with lexar & sandisk in the past
How much is the 8GB CF now? Just curious.

according to the link:
CF 133x (21.5MB/sec) 8G = $81
CF 166x (40MB/sec) 8G = $165
CF 300x (45MB/sec) 8G = $190
I just wondering does the camera capable to do 45MB/sec data transfer?

depends on your camera, some cannot take advantage of the high drive speed
Any idea about Canon 400D , can't find the info on the spec
Do you guys usually sell your memory card after couple of years of usage? I was thinking since the write cycle of flash devices is finite, would it be saver to sell and buy new card after couple years of usage?
unless there is still value on your old CF and if someone is willing to buy them off, also for the amount you paid for them in the past, you probably wouldn't feel like selling them off
You can just visit IT show this weak
I was thinking that those proffesional probably reached the flash write cycle within 2 or 3 years. Thus It is probably saver for them to sell it say after 1 or 1.5 years and get new one. Otherwise they will expose them self to possibility of flash memory corruption. Just a though, maybe nonsense at all
Professional would worry more about selling their photos than selling their 1.5 year old flash card which is outdated and probably fetch very little money.

yeah you are right problably just endup in dustbin but still would like to find out whether they refresh their memory flash regularly
