Can share why many people are into Apistos & SA dwarf cichlid ?

Specifically, would appreciate if some enthusiasts share the followings :

    a) What to look for when breeding them ?
    ....Water Cond, tank environment/setup, etcs..

    b) How to choose a good quality one ?
    c) Normally what to feed them ?
    d) What fishes can mix with them in the tank?
    e) How long can they survived ?

    .......

You can read up on the sticky thread for the basic care for Apistos in the Cichlids subsection. Everyone has their likes and dislikes, there are also many who are into other fishes such as tetras, bettas, African lake cichlids etc.

Seems like it is getting more and more popular ...

Was thinking it is because they are more hardy for one of the reason. But the price is also higher and they are more rare ..

Am afraid too much hiding place then cannot see the Apistos . Got to assess again after my tank fully run-in with the growth of the plant. Seen some plants grows like crazy already..
