    I came across this new hangon filters when i was at c328 yesterday. They look like those 60s underwater submarine type canisters. What strike me most was the round knobs that you see similar to those metal door handles that shuts the door tight.

    Yes, Seen it too. Got 2 to 3 sizes i think. What strikes me is the that 2 round shaped containers attached besides each other and it is mean for the filtering materials.

    The small one very cute , think and long.

    Interesting isn't it....

    Actually, how good is these for planted tank ? Was comptemplating getting a small canister type for about 250l/hr but good to consider this ?

    Yes, in fact I wanted to get one from them. This is the smaller one which draws air from the side is quite unique and it has a rubbe suction that supposedly stick to the out side wall of the tank. Cost about $22.

    I found it is a tad too small and had opted for another fan instead. But Polyart boss said the bigger one from Dazs is arriving.
