why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

It is a good day to die!!!
I finally uploaded an avatar and Cupid is dead!!!
i knocked out.... this cold i'm having is killing me...slowly......ergh...
i initially thought this was a day-flying Ctenucha moth... but...hmmm.. dont know if that is correct..haha..shape wise looks kinda familiar to those north-american species... had some in my collection i think.. thats why it brought up immediate association...haha..
But looking at it now..i think probably something from the Zygaenidae family?

Loke,
Yes, that is a very beautiful moth, you can always adjust the color using CS3.

I think the lost is not so much on color saturation but something else. The blue is just different from the one I remember. I took a couple of shots, those with flash just made the blue wash out. As the beauty was resting on a shaded area and not much light to talk about, I used the highest ISO and biggest aperture I could afford, but the blue was just different.
Ranma, thanks for the input.
