    I got 2 units of Ehiem 2028..and currently running one. Should I be running the 2nd unit.

    i found a single 2028 insufficient for my 422 and upgraded to a fluval fx5 for that tank. for my next 422, i've already bought (and intend to use) 2 2028s

    More filtration is always better.
    I used to run a 2228 and a 2236 for my 4x2x2.
