Been to C328 a couple of times but each time I went looking for Malayans, they were sold out. I had searched each and every packet behind the shop, even asked the uncle to find for me. He would say have but gave up by telling me to come again the next day. Anyone knows where else in the south/central lfs I can get Malayans? Heard that Colourful sells a packet of assortment of shrimps like Taiwan and Malayan mixed together. Is it true?

I thought you can always place an order with C328 for the shrimps? If not, the shrimp shipments are always fixed on specified days, just find out from uncle or auntie which days.

At C328, there is no marking on the malayan shrimp bag, so you need to asked aunty to get it for you

Hi Guys, thanks for the tips. Problem is I don't travel to Clementi anytime I wish, only occasionally drop by when there's a chance. I'm hoping to make a special trip to NA and Colourful this afternoon. I remember when I last visited Colourful two months back, Richard was recommending a bag of assorted shrimps good as algae crew. I would like to take a look in his shop today. At the same time, I'm also looking out for M erythromicron, some low grade crs, and Trichopsis pumila. Also checking with Chan if the new Eheim Ecco series have arrived.

if you're in the more northern area, perhaps try Seaview at yio chu kang/jln kayu area? they sell it slightly more expensive than c328, but you'll save on transport costs/time

NA should have a tank with malayan shrimps. however if you're trying to get a lot of it, i suggest visiting Y618 (that aquarium) preferably on saturday morning. they sell them by bags of 100.

i got mine from Y618 two weeks back.

Good evening. Just went down to NA and Colourful. Got myself 30 Malayans from NA. They were found in a tank by themselves (bottom tank nearest to the entrance). Noticed some of the female shrimps are carrying eggs. Their sizes are no different from that of adult cherry shrimps.
