the galaxy rasbora is not a Microrasbora, its called Celesichthys margaritatus. (note some calls it a Danio but I do not subscribe to that argument)
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Ya.. most times I find this fish to be skinny.. don't know if this is because of poor nourishment or if they are plagued by parasites.. I still favour this fish.. BUT.. the condition it is normally in puts me off ..

I personally would stay away from galaxies since they are still endangered due to commercial harvesting.

They're still on the endangered list? Any updates regarding their status? By the way, the fishes have crooked spine...that's not normal for this fishes?

yup, still endangered, till they are able to breed them commercially. Though i am not sure if its restriction has been lifted.
