    Hello fella forumers,

Just a question, just last month, I tied a lot of Java fern onto some wood. Recently, with closer inspection, I found alot of roots growing out from the underside of the leaves. And almost every leaf has roots growing. Just wondering is this normal and what should I do next. Please feel free to give me your advise. thanks.

the plantlets grow from the leaves.. u can propagate by trimming off the leave and tying it on something for it to grow

    Hello Simon,

If I were to trim off the leaves, will I be leaving behind a botak java fern tied to wood because almost every leaf got roots?

    Cheers.

At some point, the plantlets will detach easily from the main leaf with a simple tug.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
