    went to the LFS at Havelock road and some wood that look like ADA wood. just want to check with the bro here, did anyone saw those recently in that Havelock LFS? are those the real ADA wood or just some look alike one? thanks

    I think there's no such thing as ADA wood. ADA named it as ADA wood because they're the ones who collect it.

    Lfs selling ADA wood should only use the term " ADA wood " unless that piece of wood is indeed collected by ADA. Otherwise they should just name it ADA style wood. Labelling ADA to the wood means it's a product of ADA and I'm not sure if the ones lfs are selling are really from ADA which could be misleading.

    But i just need to check something if i remember correctly.

    Mizuworld say they sell ADA black wood from Malaysia in their website. But in one of the Aquajournal issue, ADA did mention the process of acquiring the black wood from South America.

    So are theirs different from those ADA in the states? but why they still sell it as ADA wood?
