Looks like molly.

more precisely, some selectively bred molly that shows colours not present in nature.

I see. Hehe was about to say that it's probably a wild molly looking colourless as compared to those coloured variants.

even harlequin rasbora they managed to make blue/black varieties. truly abominable in my books.

Agree, this is a short body female platy.
quite unique color with blue sheen.
Mostly they are red color.

Which farm you seen this fish? Is it expensive?

could well be hybridised. they do that easily enough.

My friend import them to his discus farm in Pasir Ris.
His is one of the farm in Aqua Fauna.
I found to be unique too, hence the photo.
As for pricing, I didn't ask. Maybe next trip I'll try to get better pictures
and the price.

could well be hybridised. they do that easily enough.

A molly and platy cannot hybridise. It could simply be Xiphophorus maculatus, Xiphophorus variatus, or a hybrid of both, or with swordtail mixed in too.
