    Hi "Apisto's Lovers"

    Care to share what u feed yr apistos ?

    Let me start the ball rolling, i only feed frozen bw. Will start varying their diet soon when i got enough cash to get the stuff on my wishlist.

    i feed my Dwarf cichlids tubifex,frozen bw. will try frozen beef or pig heart.

    The dwarfs u got from francis aka foxemty isit ?

    Anyway, i don think its feasible to feed those hearts.. sekali got some parasite. I donno bout this but got a bad feeling.

    p/s: i was the angmoh u saw at the bus stop =) outside francis's place.

    beefheart is very high in protien, used for fattening up fishes fast..

    i feed only frozen bw

    i feed frozen bw and frozen brine shrimp.they dun seem to like the brine shrimp much though...

    does apistos take tetrabits?

    as for beefhearts, i saw a discus breeder basically use a knife to slice pieces of the frozen block of beefheart directly into the tank for the discus to feed. he didn't thaw it at all, and the discus just ate it all up. not sure if that's how others do it though...

    Yes, they do take tetrabits.

    Frozen food can be chopped up or sliced into pieces for yr fish to eat, because it changes to its original form after touching water. So of course the fish can eat it, same logic as having a ice cube in a glass of water. It will melt right ?
