I'm looking for a medium school (10-12 pieces)of cories apart from the standard sterbai, panda, aeneus, trilineatus etc. Can anyone recommend me an LFS which carries this? adolfoi would be ideal i see nice cories at c328 and wu hu every now and then, but they're usually either alone or in very small groups.

Just tell Mrs Toh that you want a group of 12 and which type. She will order it for you and they will be kept in the bag on the day of your collection. Besides Corydoras adolfoi, you can also consider Corydoras duplicareus.

    Cheers,

Thanks benny I was considering Corydoras duplicareus as well but I wasn't sure if they were available locally. I saw some adolfoi before at Wu Hu hence I specifically named those Does Mrs Toh know the scientific names or does she have a book I can point to?

You have to give Mrs Toh the Chinese names. Or just print a picture and bring to show her. That should work quite well.

I've checked with both Mr Toh (C32 and Ben (Wu Hu) and both are unable to order Corydoras duplicareus/adolfoi Just for interest's sake, these are known as "golden head rat" in chinese, for those who want to order them when they become available

Guess i'll either have to wait or go with the not so beautiful C. panda for a similar look
