    I seldom see wood setups, anybody care to share ?
    And also im widening my horizon to see what fish i can keep in my drifwood setup if i got any spare tanks.

    Kinda hard to find info on what kinda fish can be kept in just wood setups, not forgettin with gravel too lar.

    how bout just plecos in tanks with just driftwood. u could make it like a rio xingu biotope. fast waters, lots of rocks and driftwood minus the plants.

    there's other fish that can live in such setups. like torrent loaches and some cichlids. basically any fish that likes rapid water.

    hehehehe, yeah. thats what i did last time. got bored with my plain driftwood so i got some nanas in pots from c328 and tied em up myself. now the nanas are overwhelming the drifwood.

    Most prolly would be keeping apisto pair in there lah. Nanas ? Isit anubia or something. what are the lighting requirements ah ?

    lazy to search, what cichlids like fast water ? eden 304 not so power lor. Using a 1.5ft anyway.

    Hello,

    What are the light requirements for this anubias u guys mentioned ?

    Im currently having a pair of A.cacutuoides double red. Spawned once on deepavali, too bad eggs kana makaned. So till now haven spawn.

    Allen, got a picture of it ? Im sure yr plecos are beautiful. Anyway, i`ve decided on keeping another pair of apistos in my 1.5ft. Most prolly would be A.trifasciata, all need to do know is get gravel. LONESTAR !!

    Can 2 pairs of apisto fit a 1.5ft tank? I always have the impression that a tank of this size can only accomodate 1 pair because of the territorial behavoir.

    Maybe the apisto guru can advice.

    2 pairs of apisto in a 1.5ft is a NONO.

    i have a wood tank

    i have not decided what to place inside yet. now it is home to some misc fish i have.

    this setup is only 2 days old. not complete yet. i have not hidden the filter pipes , powerhead etc too. but just take a pic now for you to see.

    flor ! long time!

    yes those are mangrove roots.
    they were in rain's tank initially but there were some recent shiftings here and there.
    the bark of all the roots were removed though, as there was a fungus attack initially.

    the tank in the pic is a 48 x 24 tall x 18 wide tank. 90gallons.

    yes it is.
    we have 6 of them.
    abt 8-10cm.

    this tank is housing some misc fish now and our hoplos are among them haha.

    Hoplo cats are nice fish..very intresting breeding behaviour too..bubble nest builders.
    Currently keeping many wild betta species and other anabantoids.

    no wonder those roots looked so familiar! []

    yeah, i got one from aquamart sometime back and soaked/changed water for weeks! then took it out to dry when i noticed fungus growing. [:0] think i'll remove the bark later too.
