    An LFS owner was describing to me a very hardy plant that require very little light.

    It looks similar to cabomba but doesnt break up as easily.

    It comes in pack when you buy shrimps


    It is neither moss nor fern.

    Anyone can help?

    should be hornwort

    if you need i have quite a lot FOC
    self collect at bukit panjang

    Just keep in mind that Hornwort is actually a floating plant. It does not root and planting it in the substrate will most probably lead the 'rooted' area to rot. I tie mine to rocks but they do come off regularly.

    Cabomba however roots. It grows pretty fast as well if you have strong lighting.

    where can i find a cabomba? Will it grow in small gravel substrate?

    yes. cabomba roots. No promise where u can find it. But most good Local Fish Shops will sell them. They are considered a very common waterplants in singapore.

    Do take note fishes likes to nibble at the fine soft leaves creating mess.
