    Hi,

    Need some advise from everybody.

I have been using Dupla 24 (9 drops/day) and plant (10tablets/week) for my 4x2x2 for the past 2+years

Due to cost I've changed to another band that required a high dosage (Iron 15ml/day, recommended 120ml per week, but I break it down to daily dosage, and another type also 15ml/day). After about 2 months of usage I find that the water seem to be more yellowish, I think it could be the high dosage. Plant growth are also not as good as last time.

Appreciate you could advise which other band of fertiliser is good.

Some LFS recommended me ADA ECA and Dennrile A1 for Fe.
As for replacement of Dupla Plant, Dennrile E15 and V30?

I'm using seachem and add small amount of NO3 now, result is not as good as before.

Have not try JBL ball, is this for the substrate? I've never add potassium as my tank PO4 is always on the high side of 5 to 10ppm. Add small amount of NO3 because, tank NO3 can be as low as zero to 10ppm.

Wonder-Gro now comes in all-new revised formula and fresh packaging.
I believe right now you can obtain them from at least :

    mizuworld (online store)
    Uncleben (AQ merchant member)
    NA (LFS)

If you are really concerned about budget (but I doubt you are), there is always EI dosing possible. But with KNO3 restriction in SG it is getting difficult or illegal to posses.

ya it is a ball you insert in the substrate.

Have you ever tried using JBL base fert and normal lapis sand? This gave me equal or better results that ADA soil.

    Cheers, Christophe

I've have just been to NA during the weekend but did not see wondergro, will go there again in 2 weeks time to check it out.

I think i know the JBL balls you are referring to. I used Dennile base fert with lapis sand during my set up 2+years ago, maybe its time to re-introduce base fertiliser.

Can I add JBL base fert now? For re-introduction of base fert.

Well, cost is not a concern at the beginning, but with the current increase in cost over everything and also I've increase the number tank from 1 to 3tanks+1FGT, cost is now a big concern, especially electrical cost, it is killing me.

I just spoke to Mr. Chan from NA and he says he's just got too much stuff in his store! Just approach him and ask for 'Wonder-Gro' and he will direct you to where he displays them.

    All new formula.

There are no more old stock (blue bottles) circulating in the local market.
