    Hi everyone,

    I'm fairly new to breeding tropical fish and i was thinking of breeding mollies. What i want to know which type of mollie does anyone suggest i choose?

    Well i guess that would depend on which colour variant of mollie you like

    They breed very easily, as long as their basic requirements (which aren't much) are met. Adult fish will eat fry, though, so you'll have to watch out for that
    Apistogramma agassizii, Ap. cf. iniridae, A. mendezi "Yellow-gold", wild A. sp. "Wilhelmi"

    Any colour but black i don't really like the look of black on fish . Any suggestions?

    when i was younger i used to keep albino golden sailfin mollies. not sure if they're still available in the trade (don't see them around in Singapore anymore) but I loved the colouration

    when reached adult stage

    just get mix of males and females, sure will get a confirm pair

    Shouldnt have much problem since mollies are live bearers and like the rest of the live bearers they breed like rabbits when they mature preferably two females to every male.

    I heard that guppies and mollies can cross breed together. But mollies lay eggs and guppies don't. Just wonder how in the process their offspring come out.

    are you sure mollies lay eggs.
    i thought they are also live bearers.
    anyone can help to clarify?
