Sorry guys really need help here. Other than nana and some ferns which i now is rather undemanding, is there any other plants that I may use if i want to convert my 422 to low tech... Now with 3 kids, time is of ultimate importance to me hence I need to step down.

Would appreciate some advice from the experts here.

    Cheesr!!

You can try some of the cryptocoryne plant. this plant can really grow and send out runners after they have settle down in their new environment. initially after each planting one or two leave will melt away. this part of their settling down process in their new environment.

A pure nana scape can match a high-tech setup anytime.

Hairgrass, cryptocoryne spp (wendtii in particular, there are so many variants too!), Echinodorus spp, Hygrophilia difformis, mosses, fissiden, Red tiger lotus

I'm sure there are many more but these are ones that I've been using successfully in my low-tech scapes.

I never have luck with hair grass in my low tech tank though many have no problems.

Reg tiger lotuses are beautiful and fuss-free, same goes for fissidens and mosses.
